Photo Friday: Getting Healthy

This week has been a good week health wise!  We are eating no-carb/Phase 1 of the South Beach Diet (with a few exceptions) until Christmas.  And this week hasn't been horrible.  Have I had my moments of weakness, absolutely.  But so far so good.  I am going to try a few yummy looking recipes I found on Pinterest this weekend, so I will let you know how they go.

After I work out this afternoon, I will have gotten 4 solid work outs this week.  My energy levels are WAY up and I am feeling good.  And yes, Glee does make treadmill workouts MUCH easier! 



Thank you hot tub.  You are keeping my stiffness and soreness at a manageable level.

  
Good, bad or otherwise, I am not weighing myself anytime soon.  I am well aware that I am the heaviest I have ever been.  And I see no reason to know what the number is.  I also see no reason to discourage myself when, after days of hard work, the scale only moves a pound or two.  I am going to take the small victories, like my rings being loose again.  And the fact that I feel lighter.  When I've dropped a size, I will let you know. 

 Because the reality is, I just want to be back in all of old clothes.  The ones that say 8 on the tag instead of a much larger number.  The ones that I feel great and confident in again.  The ones that I like my body in.  That is the only number's game I'm going to play. I really don't care how much I weigh as long as I fit back into my clothes.  Because they are really cute.  And I miss them.

THE GOAL:  8

  1. Wow giving up carbs and doing south beach around this time of year-- not worthy!!! Ever noticed its only until you can't have something, that you totally crave it all the time?
