Photo Friday: Playing Catch Up

I am not a fan of weeks after long weekend, holidays, vacation, etc.  It is so hard to get back into the swing of things when all I want to be doing is sleeping in.  So yay it is Friday!  Since I kinda took a bloggie break accidentally because of Thanksgiving, let's play some photo catch up!

My parents flew in to see us and our new house before we drove to Milwaukee to spend Thanksgiving with my aunt and uncle.  It was a fabulous, relaxing weekend.  We have started this great tradition of having stone crabs for dinner on Wednesday night.  I make Key Lime Pie for dessert every year.  It is one of the few things that I make well.  Thursday we had a quiet day full of sleeping in, walking and playing with the dogs, reading and eating. 

Somehow the only pictures I managed to take from the weekend were of the dogs.  But who am I kidding, those are the only pictures you guys are really interested in seeing anyway, right?

Buoy and Missy are now BFF's which is AMAZING!


But after several days of non-stop playing, even Buoy was tired.




The annual post-turkey nap on the floor. 


This week there was a lot of working out!  Which is a good thing, but man am I sore!  I picked up this sweet new work out toy up on Craigs List and so far I LOVE it!  It's called Fluidity.  It's kind of like Bar Method if any of you have ever tried that.  But MUCH cheaper to do it in your own home!  I have the Bar Method dvds in addition to several ballet style work outs, so I don't think I will be bored any time soon.


In addition to Fluidity, I also spent time on our treadmill.  I'm sort of doing Couch to 5k.  I will start the program for real one of these days, but right now I'm just doing what I can to start getting back into shape.

 
My ultimate game plan: to do Couch to 5k 3 days a week and to do Fluidity (which is a lot of strength training) 2x a week.  Anyone need an accountability buddy?
